I blend one up with a frozen banana and it honestly tastes like a chocolate milkshake, not a health drink. The dates do all the sweetening so there's no chalky aftertaste, and I like that the chickpeas and pumpkin seeds are just quietly in there.
I was skeptical about zucchini and chickpeas hiding in a chocolate smoothie, but honestly I can't taste them at all. It blends up thick and creamy, more like a dessert shake than something with pumpkin seeds in it. The single-serve packs make it stupid easy to just grab one on my way out the door.
The cacao and dates make this taste just like a chocolate milkshake, which is wild given the chickpeas and zucchini hiding in there. I’ve been blending it with ice and it comes out thick and creamy, perfect for a post-run treat that actually keeps me full.
