A nod to a classic. We made ours with good-for-you ingredients: broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potato, cheeze-y nutritional yeast, and sunflower seeds for extra crunch. The nutritional yeast actually tastes cheezy enough that I forgot there's no real cheese in this. Sweet potato and broccoli held up well after reheating, no mush.
The sunflower seeds give this a crunch I wasn't expecting from a bowl full of broccoli and cauliflower. Sweet potato adds just enough sweetness to balance the cheeze-y nutritional yeast. I've already ordered it twice this month.
I was skeptical about the nutritional yeast, but it actually gives it that cheezy flavor I was craving. The sweet potato and cauliflower make it feel like a real meal instead of just a side of broccoli.
